The World Cup will start from October 5

The mega tournament will start from October 5 and the first match will be played between the defending champions England and the runners-up New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The final match will be played on November 19. The final match will also be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

A total of 10 teams will participate in the World Cup. The entire tournament will be played at a total of 10 venues. There will be a total of 48 matches in the mega event, which will be played within 46 days. The Indian team will play its first match on October 8 against Australia in Chennai.

The 10 venues include the cities of Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Dharamshala, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Pune. While practice matches will be played in Hyderabad along with Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram. The World Cup between India and Pakistan will be held on October 15 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
